Google extends its Web dominance with a $3.1 billion offer to buy ad company DoubleClick

Ohhh....my god, Google announced on Friday the 13th that it would acquire DoubleClick for $3.1 billion -- a deal that is expected to close by the end of the year. Google anticipates that this partnership will make the Internet more efficient for end users, advertisers, and publishers.

Google are getting new technology for theirbanner ads! How's the react from Yahoo and MSN? Another acquisition war? God knows...... But I know google is trying to stop some of the online ad technology and chnage it to be them own technology to keeping it's master status over internet marketing.
